Due to the COVID-19 virus, I have increased all routine treatment room and office sanitation practices, installed several air purifiers, and reduced the number of appointments I am offering each day. In order to protect each other, I am allowing more time between sessions. I have been fully vaccinated and boosted. I am still masking during sessions. While masks for clients are recommended, it is optional at this time. I am only seeing clients who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please bring proof of vaccination to first visits.

Resilience Acupuncture & Wellness

Traditional Chinese Medicine for Modern Western Culture

Regular acupuncture sessions keep us balanced and our immune systems strong so we can live our best lives without the overwhelm of anxiety, stress, pain, and fatigue.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest natural healing modalities and it is celebrated by millions of people around the world for it's efficacy. Acupuncture became popular in the United States in the 1970s. It's now being integrated into US hospitals and medical practices. How does acupuncture work? This is the great debate. There are many theories. Some studies suggest that acupuncture engages the central nervous system, creating a cascade of hormones and neurotransmitters that influence the body's own ability to heal. Studies have found that pain-relieving substances such as natural opioids may be released during acupuncture treatments. While acupuncture is probably best known for managing pain, it can do so much more. The World Health Organization recommends acupuncture as an effective treatment for many conditions including:

It is also a preventative medicine.
